TIA Settings

TIA District/Campus Settings


  • Use the Settings tab to locate District and Campus Settings.

  • Only District Administrators can view TIA tabs (Options, Student Growth, Designation).

  • TIA Leads needing access should click the blue question mark on the top right of the screen to contact DMAC Support.

  • District Admins or Superintendents can email support@dmac-solutions.net to request user role changes.

  • For limited access to TIA Student Growth, a District Manager role can be assigned.


TIA Options


  • Manage TIA settings under the TIA Options tab.

  • Set Appraisal Data as Manual Entry, Counted Walkthroughs/Observations, or Final Summative.

  • Choose calculation method: Average of Domains 2 & 3 or 50/50 Split.

  • Set up Eligible Teaching Groups: Match the order in your TIA plan, assign the Teacher Observation Rubric, Weight (%), Student Growth Measure, and optional components.

  • Add or remove teachers as needed, and assign campuses by clicking the teacher icon (for existing groups) or the green plus sign to add teachers to a new group.


TIA Student Growth


  • Use the TIA Student Growth tab to manually enter growth data.

  • Enter Projected Growth mid-year and Final Growth at the end of the year.

  • Growth percentages support Data Submission and Growth Correlation Reports.


TIA Designation


  • Manage designations in the TIA Designation tab.

  • Manually enter subjects, grades, and appraisers if using Counted Walkthroughs/Observations on the TIA Options tab.

  • Final Summative data appears if that option is set on the TIA Options page.

  • After the Optional Components are entered and saved, select the appropriate Designation from the drop-down and save.

  • Completed records populate the Data Submission Spreadsheet that can be found in the Reports section of T-TESS.
