Session Title: To Data & Beyond | Turning DMAC Assessment Results into Targeted Instruction & Personalized Learning

Session Details: You’ve got the data… now what? It’s time to go To Data & Beyond! Discover how assessment data can become a launchpad for targeted instruction, digital learning, and student ownership.

First, we’ll focus on teacher responsibility—using DMAC assessment reports and TEKS performance to identify Tier 1 reteach needs, create targeted Tier 2 groups, and use digital tools to provide differentiated learning opportunities. Then, we’ll shift the mission to student responsibility—helping students understand their own data, recognize strengths, identify areas for growth, set goals, and use digital learning tools to take ownership of their progress.

Leave with a practical process that puts teachers and students on the same mission: turning data into action and action into growth—to infinity and beyond!

Presenter: Crysten Millican, DMAC Specialist & Courtney Verzosa, Reading Interventionist

Session Title: There's an AI in my Boot | Wrangling DMAC Data into Tier 1 Instruction

Session Details: Howdy, partners! There's a new deputy in town, and AI is ready to team up with DMAC! Join Crysten, a DMAC Specialist, and Courtney, a K–5 Reading Interventionist from New Diana ISD, as they round up assessment resources and take Tier 1 instruction on a wild adventure! First, saddle up with DMAC to learn how to access and download assessments, answer keys, and assessment reports. Then, it's time to let AI join the roundup! Discover how to use these resources with AI to uncover those sneaky misconceptions and create engaging bell ringers, spiral reviews, differentiated activities, and more.

No need to feel like a lost toy when it comes to planning instruction! With DMAC and AI in your corner, you'll have a whole new toy box of instructional ideas ready for your classroom. So reach for the STAARs, partner, because you've got a friend in DMAC and AI!
