Student Review of Online Tests

Use the Online tab of a test key to select whether or not students can log in and see their test questions after scoring a test online.

Helpful Tips

Students can review scored tests when the option is enabled for the individual Test Key in TEKScore.

  • From Test Keys, edit the test and open the Online tab.
  • Make sure the test is enabled for online testing, then select Edit under Session Settings.
  • Under Allow students to review scored tests, choose what students can see:
    • Response – Student's response only.
    • Response + Missed – Student's response and whether it was correct or incorrect.
    • Response + Missed + Correct – Student's response, whether it was correct or incorrect, and the correct answer.
  • Select Save. The setting takes effect immediately.
  • When students sign back in, the completed test appears as Read-only.

Teachers can view the student's audit trail in Online Sessions. Reviewing a completed test appears in the session log as Signed in as Read-only.

Students are allowed to log in to scored tests in DMAC if the option is enabled in TEKScore.

From Test Keys, click the Edit icon and use the Online Settings tab.

Make sure the test is enabled for Online Testing and then click Edit next to Session Settings.

Next to ‘Allow students to review scored tests’, there is a drop-down with options.

“Response” shows only the student's response.

“Response plus Missed” includes whether the student got it correct or incorrect.

“Response plus Missed plus Correct” includes the actual correct answer.

Click Save to activate the desired setting, which makes it automatically live for students.

Once the setting has been enabled, a student can sign back in to view their tests.

Please note this is an individual setting for each test key.

You'll notice that once they sign back in, the test name will appear with (Read-only).

What the student sees depends on the option enabled under the test settings.

You can see here that the correct and incorrect answers are marked on this example.

Teachers can visit the Online Sessions section of TEKScore to view each student's audit trail (also known as the session log).

When a student signs into a completed test, it will add that to the log as Signed in as Read-only.
