Online Testing

Understand how online testing works, where students sign in with their State or Local ID, birth date, and Test ID, keys stay enabled for five days, and STAAR reference materials can be turned on for math and science.

Helpful Tips

  • Online Tests must come from the TAG application in DMAC.
  • Use the 'Export test to TEKScore' icon to move a key into the TEKScore application and establish the settings desired from the Online tab.
  • Accessibility features are available for all students taking a test (guideline, highlighter, dictionary, calculators, larger pointers, and screen color settings). These are designated on the Online tab of a key.
  • Individual Test Supports are assigned in the Student Portfolio application. Once assigned, they appear for students on any test they take based on content area.
  • Online tests automatically stay enabled for 5 days; enable or disable the online status of a key at any time.
  • Enable STAAR Reference Materials for Math and Science.
  • Student sign-in: students click the Student icon on the DMAC homepage (or apps.dmac-solutions.net/student) and enter State or Local ID, Birth Date, and Test ID.
  • Note: Students see an error if they previously logged in and clicked Score. Teachers can print a list of student IDs and birth dates from Utilities and My Account.
