TTS

From the settings menu in the top navigation bar, click TTS to identify the
default English and Spanish voices used when accessing the text-to-speech
feature in TAG.
The available voices will vary for everyone depending on the operating system
and type of device.
TAG uses your web browser's Web Speech API to provide Text-To-Speech services.
Make sure your device is not muted, then contact your local technology
specialist if Text-to-Speech is not working.
Use the drop-down options under English and Spanish to pick a voice.
Click the speak button to test how each sounds.
Click Save if you make any changes
Please note.
Students taking tests in DMAC also have the ability to select a different voice
for TTS.
The voice selected on this screen is not what students will hear if they select
something different.
Individual items in TAG that are approved for TTS appear with an icon to the
right of the question.
When editing an item, click the text-to-speech icon to test how the question
will be read aloud to students.
Any student with the designated text-to-speech support sees this screen when
taking an online test, where they can also change their speech settings before
they start.
