Related Content
Add Related Content passages, whether purchased or original, to TAG by choosing Related Content and New, setting the Language, Title, Content Area, Course, and Genre, and entering the passage in the Selections area.
Helpful Tips
- Related Content can include purchased or original materials, such as reading passages, maps, or charts.
- Content added by a DMAC user is available only to that individual login.
Adding Related Content
- Select Related Content > New from the navigation bar, or select New from the Related Content Library.
- Choose English or Spanish.
- Enter a name for the content.
- Indicate whether it is a Paired Passage or Revise and Edit passage.
- Select the Content Area and Course. Genre is optional.
- Enter the Readability Level, if known.
- Select Save.
Formatting the Content
- Add optional Directions, Pre-Read, or Introduction.
- Identify areas that should include Text to Speech.
- Enter and format the main content under Selections.
- Select Save when finished.
- Use View to preview the Related Content or Print to check the printed version.
Finding Related Content
- Select Related Content > Search from the navigation bar.
- Use the Preview icon to view the content.
- Select the List icon to see which items are attached to the Related Content.
Enter "Related Content," like reading passages, to the TAG application. This can be purchased or original content for your school. Please note that content added by a DMAC user is accessible only by that individuals login.
Select Related Content and New from the navigation bar, or click New from the Related Content Library.
Choose English or Spanish.
Name the content and then select Yes or No if it's a paired passage. Check if its a Revise and Edit passage.
Select the content area and course. Genre is optional.
Enter the Readability level, if known.
Click Save.
Make changes to the areas on the right or choose to include directions, Pre-Read, or an Introduction.
Identify areas to include text-to-speech.
Enter and format the main part under Selections.
Click Save near the top.
Click View to preview the Related Content or select print to view how the content will look online or print a copy.
To Search for existing Content, use the top navigation bar in TAG and click Related Content and Search. Click on the Preview icon to view the Content or the List icon to see items attached.
