Explore the 18 interactive item types available in TAG (Multiple Choice, Text Entry, Match and Order, Highlight and Drawing, and Math) and see when to use each to build engaging assessments.
Helpful Tips
- From the top navigation bar in TAG, select Items > New.
- Use the menu on the left to choose the item type you want to create.
- Hover over an item type for a short description of its functionality.
Choosing an Item Type
- Available features and formatting options vary depending on the selected item type.
- Although certain item types are commonly associated with specific content areas or grade levels, any item type can be used for any subject in DMAC.
- Different item types can provide creative ways to assess student knowledge and collect data.
