HTML Text Formatting
Use HTML formatting in items and passages by pasting as plain text to remove hidden code so TAG can add the correct paragraph tags and the content displays properly online.

Helpful Tips
- The first toolbar icon is Paste Plain Text — recommended for all content; use it whenever you paste text from any source outside TAG to strip hidden HTML code and formatting.
- Highlight text and click the icons in the middle of the toolbar to format it.
- Highlight only the text itself, not the spaces before or after, so Text-to-Speech works properly.
- Insert a Hyphen, Minus sign, En Dash, or Em Dash using the icon on the editing toolbar — do not type these from the keyboard, as they will not read correctly for Text-to-Speech.
- TAG then applies the correct paragraph tags so the content displays properly online.
