Create Test
Create a new test in TAG by clicking New on the Test Library, entering the test name as the only required field, and optionally adding keywords and directions.
Helpful Tips
- From the top navigation bar in TAG, select Test > New, or select the New icon from the Test Library.
- Choose English or Spanish, then enter a Test Name. A test name is required.
- Directions are optional and will appear at the top of the test for students.
Organizing Your Test
- Add optional Keywords to help organize and find assessments later.
- Separate keywords or phrases with commas.
- Keywords are not visible to students and can be used when searching the Test Library.
Additional Options
- Select Upload File to attach an optional Source PDF to document source materials related to the assessment.
- To begin adding questions immediately, select the option to add items to the test before selecting Save.
To create a new test, select Tests and New from the top navigation bar.
Or, click the New icon from the Test Library page under Search.
Choose English or Spanish and then type or paste in the Test Name.
This is required for all tests.
Directions are optional.
They appear at the top of a test and are visible to students.
Keywords are also optional and not visible to students.
They can be very helpful with organizing your tests.
Separate words or phrases by commas in the keywords section.
When searching for tests in the future, you can type out keywords to quickly
find assessments.
Select the Upload File button from the top right to attach a Source PDF.
This is also optional and gives educators a way to document source materials
related to an assessment.
To add items to your test, check the option here before clicking the Save
button.
