As a District Administrator or Manager, import HLS (Home Language Survey) data using the required file format, where only new records for students already in the class roster are added.

Helpful Tips

  • District Administrators and District Managers can import HLS (Home Language Survey) data for students using the required file format.
  • Only new HLS records are imported on later uploads — existing data is not updated or deleted.
  • Students not appearing in your class roster data file will not import, so confirm a student is in DMAC if they are missing after an import.
  • Tip: don't open the file before importing, as this can change the formatting.
