This information is for IT/network personnel to confirm the network requirements for DMAC to operate properly.
DMAC uses standard SMTP for automated emails (password recovery, status updates, notifications) — do not whitelist specific addresses, since DMAC sends from multiple usernames.
DMAC uses only secure FTP to send and receive data files (class roster, state assessment, etc.); every client has an FTP account with credentials provided to the local DMAC administrator.
