TAG Test Item Bank

TAG allows up to 20 alternate correct responses for applicable question types, making it easier to account for variations in student answers. Alternate responses can be added to Equation Editor, Short Text, or Inline Text items.
New Item -
Click the green plus icon
Enter and format the question and response
Click Add Alternate Correct
Enter additional answer choices
Click Save
Select TEKS
Click Items to return to the item library
Preview Item -
Click the preview icon next to the question
Look for the green check icon (indicates alternate responses added)
Click the green checkmark to view responses
TEKScore Test Key -
Open TEKScore
Go to Test Keys
Select an active or unpublished test
Click Edit
Select the Key tab
Click the answer box for the item
Click the green checkmark
Enter alternate correct responses
Click OK
Click Save
Save changes to automatically re-score student documents

Look for the green checkmark to identify items with alternate correct responses
