Job Description:

DMAC Solutions at Region 7 is hiring talented and experienced software developers/programmers with a passion for creating and improving web-based applications and services.

We’re looking for developers who will work closely with other developers and education specialists. Our goal is to deliver high-quality solutions that truly meet the needs of our schools. This job has the potential to operate as a hybrid position with some time onsite at Region 7 ESC and some from a remote location.

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Proven experience with the .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, and MVC.
  • Strong proficiency in web languages and standards, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Skilled in relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Exceptional reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in implementing solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across various application domains, both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Write clean, stable, and fault-tolerant code that stands the test of time.
  • Take the lead in designing, developing, and ensuring the functionality of various production-level software products or services.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing emerging technologies and practices that can enhance our existing products and services.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Provide mentorship and advice to other developers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Make impactful decisions that directly affect the products and services within your assigned scope.
  • Offer technical assistance as and when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,158.00 – $94,658.00 per year

Elementary Specialist

Job Summary:

Plan and provide services such as workshops and technical assistance to school personnel (district/charter) in support of DMAC software applications. Research and create needs assessments for DMAC’s test item bank and work collaboratively with other DMAC specialists to create high-quality items based on needs of users and state standards that meet all bias and sensivity requirements. Overnight travel is required.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor Degree or required license
  • Prefer Master Degree in related field
  • Texas Teaching Certificate

Experience:

  • At least five years of related experience.
  • Require at least three years of teaching experience in STAAR tested subject
  • Experience with Early Childhood standards and the Science of Teaching Reading
  • Experience with planning and delivering professional development to fellow educators.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan and deliver services to schools in support of improvement and compliance with
    accountability intervention requirements
    Plan, organize, and conduct workshops, DMAC Academies, and DMAC Certification.
  • Respond to client inquiries, comments, and suggestions as well as provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Overnight travel is required.
  • Market components and services through regional, state, and national conferences.
  • Assist school districts in planning, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing their educational programs to facilitate the improvement of student achievement.
  • Support school districts in using technology to develop data informed practices.
  • Research and create needs assessments for DMAC’s test item bank and work collaboratively with DMAC specialists to create high-quality items based on the needs of users and state standards that meet all bias and sensitivity requirements.
  • Assess and maintain content developed by DMAC and/or third parties, ie. TEKS-RS
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,215.00 – $105,965.00 per year
