Data Extracts in DMAC

There are several ways that you can export assessment data from DMAC. Utilize the Search features in both State Assessment and TEKScore to create customized queries–or, open the Data Export application to aggregate student data (including state, local and national assessments).

Other Helpful Tips:

  • District level logins can upload data for their schools from Utilities > Upload
  • Click here for more information on the national data types accepted by DMAC.

State Data

  • From State Assessment, click the Search box on the top navigation bar. This can be done for STAAR or TELPAS assessments.
  • Select information on the Criteria tab and click the Search button (top right).
  • Move to the Grid tab and click on the Export button (top right)

Local Data

  • From TEKScore, click Search on the top navigation bar.
  • Select a test and any other desired criteria and click Search.
  • Check all students (top of column) in your search results or next to individual names and click on the Export button (top right).
  • Use the screen to select which fields to include on your file and click the Custom Export button (bottom) to create either .txt or .csv files.

Data Export and National Data

  • Open Data Export application. 
  • This is offered for FREE to all schools who have student level data.
  • Select a Campus and/or Grade from the top drop-downs and any student data from the left menu.
  • Use the tabs to select which assessment data to export.
  • Don’t forget to include any desired Field Options. These are different for each tab.
  • Click the Download button (top right) after making your selections.
